Happy Birthday Red Dwarf, 25 today. Long may you continue to bring joy to our lives.
It looks likely that we will continue to have the Boys from the Dwarf enriching our lives for some time to come, as this week Craig Charles told the Australian Telegraph the BBC “definitely want another series.”
Some of the major players have expressed themselves on Twitter today. With Robert Llewellyn saying: “I can truly say I had no idea Red Dwarf would still be going strong. Utterly amazing experience.”
While Danny John-Jules said: ” Red Dwarf is 25 today. 15 years ago the BBC said there was no audience for it anymore. LMFAO”
Writer Doug Naylor added: “Thanks for all the 25th Anniversary birthday tweets!!”
The anniversary has been celebrated with a meteorite rain last night (ok, not really) and this weekend there will be a big celebration of Red Dwarf on Dave. If you can’t wait till then, we have some delights for you to get stuck into.
