Rik Mayall One By One Movie premieres June the 21st

Not long now until the very last unseen work of Rik Mayall will be screened in our cinemas. The psychological drama was filmed in 2012, but has never been seen.
The dark movie is said to “call into question our very existence.”

“A café worker is violently jolted from her day to day existence when offered the startling revelation that this world may be on the brink of destruction, or revolution, or both.

Who are the real puppet masters? Is an orchestrated event on its way to reduce the population? Could the “crazies” really be right? When the men behind the curtain run out of enemies, you’re next.

Writer and director Diane Jessie Miller says of the project: “The idea to ‘question everything’ is now routed deep within me (and dare I say all the people involved in this project).

The questions therefore remain; ‘what involvement do you want in your life?’ and ‘are you awake?’

One by One is a very unique project. Every single person involved in the making of this film did so because they wanted to be part of something special and different.

This meant that most of the cast and crew have worked tirelessly to get this film made. What you’ll see on the screen has been made on pure determination, passion and complete commitment.

This is ‪Rik Mayall‬’s last British feature film. We all feel honoured and blessed to have known and worked with him. ”
